6.9 BACKLIGHT menu

To enter BACKLIGHT menu, press ● button in MAIN menu-1>BACKLIGHT.

The Backlight Compensation – BLC – function is used to brighten an image in the foreground with a

highly lit area behind it such as sunlight, limiting the affect of silhouetting.

The Highlight Compensation – HLC – function is used to black out highlighted areas that may blind the

camera, in order to enable a clear visual image of objects, such as the license plates of an oncoming

vehicle or other objects that may be obstructed by headlamps.

6.10 NR menu

To enter NR menu, press ● button at MAIN menu-2>NR.
