5. CONFIGURING THE DVR WITH A CROSSOVER CABLE

Assuming that the DVR maintains the factory default Network settings (192.168.0.52),

this section will explain how to configure the computer to connect directly to the DVR.

The following illustration was based on a computer system running Windows XP

Professional.

On the PC, click on Start,

Settings, then Control

Panel to open the Control

Panel.

Double-Click on Network

Connections to open the

network settings window.
